2012 (Senior)

Turpin played in 35 games for the Pirates. She had 42 hits in 118 at-bats for a .356 batting average, third best for SU. She was tied for first with 6 stolen bases and also led the team with 27 runs scored. Turpin was named to the All-SCAC First Team for her efforts this season.

2011 (Junior)

Turpin was tops with a .381 batting average and started every game of the season for the Pirates. From the leadoff spot she recorded 59 hits in 155 at bats with four doubles, one triple and one homerun. She drove in 12 runs while scoring a team high 36 runs. Turpin was also the team leader with 16 stolen bases, getting caught in the act just twice. She was selected to the All-SCAC Second Team, SCAC All-Tournament Team and NFCA All-Region Third Team.

2010 (Sophomore)

Appeared and started in all 46 games for the Pirates...had 40 hits in 133 at bats for a .301 batting average...had 10 RBI and a .308 slugging percentage...had 60 put outs and 4 assists with only 1 error for a .985 fielding percentage...led the team in stolen bases with 16 and was tied for first on the team in stolen base percentage with 1.000...SCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team...SCAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

2009 (First Year)
Started all 35 games for the Pirates in her first season...went 33-98 from the plate for a .337 batting average, third best on the team...had one homerun (in-the-park)...drove in nine runs and scored 23 times...posted a .367 slugging percentage and .398 on base percentage...walked eight times and struck out nine...had 48 putouts and 2 assists while committing three errors for a .943 fielding percentage...2009 SCAC All-Sportsmanship Team...All-SCAC Honorable Mention.

High School
Turpin was a First Team All-District and Utility Player of the Year in softball, was the Defensive MVP in volleyball and softball, was Newcomer of the Year in softball and was a Wendy's High School Heisman State Finalist, she also was a State Qualifier in pole vault, lettered in volleyball, softball and track and field for the Blackcats at Mexia HS in Tehuacana, TX.

Taylor is the daughter of John and Teresa Turpin...has one sibling - Morgan...is a kinesiology major with a psychology minor at SU.
